The ACAA defending champion Crandall Chargers are kickstarting the ACAA's Cross-Country Running season which features student-athletes from Dalhousie AC, Holland, MSVU, STU and Sainte-Anne. The event is the first stop on the road to the CCAA Cross-Country Championships, which return to the Maritimes for the first time in over a decade as the Dal AC Rams prepare to host the country's best in November.

It may be early in the season, but a Friday night clash between the CCAA's #1 and #3 ranked teams could be a preview of both the provincial and national championships. The RSEQ's first place Aigles d'Ahuntsic (3-0) welcome the Élans de Garneau (2-0) in a match that features the CCAA's two most decorated women's soccer programs of the past decade.


Invitational #1 Hosted by St. Clair Saints

The St. Clair Saints will bookend the OCAA Golf Season by hosting this weekend's opening Invitational and the Conference Championships in October. Both events are being hosted at the Ambassador Golf Club in Windsor. The field for this season includes individuals and teams from Confederation, Durham, Fanshawe, Georgian, Loyalist, Niagara, St. Clair, St. Lawrence, and Sault.


PUC Pilots vs. Les Rouges de Saint-Boniface

In a rematch of last season's conference final, Les Rouges de l'Université de Saint-Boniface (2-0-0) host the Providence University College Pilots (1-0-0) in a match to sit atop the conference table. Les Rouges (CCAA No. 10) entered the 2023 women's soccer season as three-time defending MCAC champs, but the Pilots have assembled a balanced squad of veterans and newcomers eager to claim their first MCAC crown since 2014.

ACAC & CCAA Athlete of the Week Fiston Kiese and the Portage Voyageurs (2-0-0) have put the North on notice with two impressive wins to open their season. The Voyageurs have already improved upon their recent season records, but they face a key test in the NAIT Ooks (1-0-0), who are currently ranked No. 8 in the CCAA and are perennial contenders for the ACAC Title.


  Langara Falcons vs. VIU Mariners

September 16 & 17 at 5:15 p.m. PT
 
     

The Langara Falcons (0-1-1) & VIU Mariners (1-0-1) closed their successful 2022 campaigns with a match at the CCAA Championships and now square off in a double header early in the 2023 season. Competition is always tight in the PACWEST and both teams are looking to bounce back from one goal losses to the Douglas Royals (2-0-0) last weekend. Douglas, VIU and Langara are all featured in the CCAA Rankings, with the Royals at No. 4, Mariners at No. 6 and Falcons at No. 14.
