MSVU Mystics vs. St. Thomas Tommies

The country’s number one team is headed to Fredericton to open the second half of the season. The MSVU Mystics (8-0) face UNBSJ (3-6) on Saturday followed by the ACAA’s second place St. Thomas Tommies (7-1) on Sunday. The Mystics won their first matchup with STU (CCAA No. 7), but the Tommies have won five straight since and are undefeated on their home court.


Dynamiques de Sainte-Foy vs. Dawson Blues
RSEQ - Women's Basketball

The Dynamiques de Sainte-Foy (8-1) visit the Dawson Blues (8-1) to determine the top team in the RSEQ and potentially shake up the CCAA Rankings. Sainte-Foy (CCAA No. 4) won the previous contest with Dawson (CCAA No. 7), but the Dynamiques also face the Vanier Cheetahs this weekend who are responsible for their lone defeat of the season.


Jolyon Thompson Invitational Hosted by Centennial Colts
OCAA - Badminton

The Centennial Colts (CCAA No. 4) are hosting the Jolyon Thompson Invitational, the final Badminton tournament before the Conference Regionals and Championships. Athletes from the Boréal, Cambrian, Conestoga, George Brown, Fanshawe, St. Lawrence, Humber, Seneca, and Lambton will be fine tuning their skills as they prepare for playoff season, which culminates with the CCAA Championships hosted by Seneca.


PUC Pilots vs. ACC Cougars

The undefeated CMU Blazers (CCAA No. 8) have had everyone’s number in the MCAC, but with half the season left to play, anything can still happen. The Providence Pilots (5-4) and Assiniboine Cougars (4-5) are currently battling it out for second, but both will be trying to improve their standing before the playoffs.

The Lakeland Rustlers (9-1), reigning National Champions and current No. 1 in the CCAA rankings, bring their A-game to face off against the RDP Queens (9-2), leaders of the ACAC Southern Division. The Rustlers are on fire with an impressive 6-win streak, while the RDP Queens are currently riding a 3-win streak. With the CCAA championship on the horizon and the Queens hosting this year’s event, this game is set to keep us on our toes, offering an exciting preview of the high-level action we can expect at the upcoming championship.


COTR Avalanche vs. Douglas Royals

Prepare for an epic showdown as the COTR Avalanche (9-1), currently holding the No. 1 spot in the country with an impressive nine-game win streak, faces off against the resilient Douglas Royals (4-6) team. In their previous encounters, Douglas Royals pushed COTR Avalanche to the limit, taking both matches to five sets. With Douglas looking to capitalize on their previous performances and potentially disrupt COTR's dominant streak, the stage is set for another thrilling battle.
