Red Deer Polytechnic has had the privilege of hosting the highly successful 2019 CCAA Men's National Volleyball Championship while also being a major partner of the 2019 Canada Winter Games. The last time RDP hosted the CCAA Women's National Volleyball Championship was in 1980 and 1987.
The Centre houses a 1,748-square-metre gymnasium with a capacity of 1,200 individual seats. The gymnasium meets FIVB competition requirements, features state-of-the-art audiovisual technology and two 18-foot dynamic HD video/display boards. |
A legacy of the 2019 Canada Winter Games in Red Deer, the Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre is where all matches of the CCAA Women's Volleyball Championship will take place.
