Holland Hurricanes vs. Sainte-Anne Dragons |

Last season, the Université Sainte-Anne men's volleyball team captured their first ACAA title since 1995. The 2023-24 campaign starts this weekend with the Dragons hosting the Holland Hurricanes in double header action Saturday and Sunday. The 2023-24 ACAA Volleyball Championships will be a single elimination tournament play at UNBSJ in Saint John, NB February 23-25, 2024. |

The defending RSEQ Champions, and CCAA silver medalists, have opened the season with two dominant wins and almost twice as many points-for versus points-against. However, this weekend the Géants de Saint-Jean (2-0) will be tested against an opponent from last year’s final four in the Dynamiques de Sainte-Foy (2-0). The Dynamiques are also undefeated and have an overtime victory against annual contenders the Champlain Saint-Lambert Cavaliers. |

Humber Hawks vs. St. Clair Saints |

The St. Clair Saints have a CCAA thing next week, but this weekend their women’s volleyball team is hosting the Humber Hawks. The Hawks (3-0) are the defending OCAA Champs, and CCAA bronze medal winners, but the Saints (3-0) are off to a hot start of their own with three decisive three set sweeps. |

Les Rouges de l'Université de Saint-Boniface (USB) are in pursuit of their third consecutive MCAC women's title and the Providence University College (PUC) Pilots are defending champs in the men's competition. Both seasons get underway this Friday with the Pilot men visiting the Canadian Mennonite University (CMU) Blazers and the USB women paying in the home of the Assiniboine Community College (ACC) Cougars. |

The hosts of the 2024 CCAA Women’s Basketball National Championship are off to a perfect start. The Lakeland Rustlers (4-0) have opened this season with quality victories over ACAC North opponents and now hit the road to test their game against teams in the South. First up are the Briercrest Clippers (4-0) who have launched their own 2023-24 campaign with four straight victories. |

The season is young, but the VIU Mariners (4-0) are once again establishing themselves as a team to beat in the PACWEST. This weekend they visit the Okanagan Coyotes (2-2) who have split their two previous series but have a player to watch in Manny Biden. The PACWEST and CCAA Athlete of the Week recorded a perfect game last Saturday, shooting 12/12 from the field, 2/2 from beyond the arc and 4/4 from the line. |
