A new contender has charged up the ACAA Standings, as the Mount Allison Mounties (5-1) look to challenge the MSVU Mystics (6-1) for first place in the Conference. The Mounties (CCAA No. 14) are riding a five-game win streak backed by a strong defensive effort. Mount A’s last loss came on opening day, at the hands of the Mystics (CCAA No. 6).

Vanier Cheetahs vs. Dawson Blues

December 2 at 5:00 p.m. ET

The Vanier Cheetahs (9-0) just claimed top spot in the national rankings and face an immediate test from the CCAA’s No. 5 ranked Dawson Blues (8-1). Vanier has already overcome some tough challenges from Brébeuf and Champlain Saint-Lambert, but Dawson has won eight straight since dropping their opening game of the season.

St. Clair Saints vs. Humber Hawks
OCAA - Women's Volleyball
December 2 at 5:00 p.m. ET

This rematch between the Humber Hawks (10-0) and St. Clair Saints (8-1), the top two teams in the OCAA, is the perfect way to wrap up the Fall Schedule. The Hawks (CCAA No. 3) handed the Saints (CCAA No. 8) their only loss earlier this season, but St. Clair has won all five matches since, including three sweeps.

ACC Cougars vs. PUC Pilots
MCAC - Women's Volleyball
December 1 at 6:00 p.m. CT

No team has been able to ground the Providence Pilots (7-0) yet this season, but the Assiniboine Cougars (5-2) will take a swipe at it this weekend. PUC (CCAA No. 11) has only dropped four sets in seven matches but three of them have been against ACC.

The slate of games is slim going into the winter break so let’s run it back with the Lakeland Rustlers (8-1) and Augustana Vikings (7-2). The CCAA’s No. 1 Ranked Rustlers swept the Vikings last week but Augustana (CCAA No. 14) is a perfect 4-0 at home.

The VIU Mariners (10-0) have set themselves apart from most of the league, but every team appears to be in the playoff mix with the first half winding down. The Langara Falcons have won three of their last five and could make a statement this weekend against the No. 1 team in Canada.
