UNBSJ Seawolves vs. MSVU Mystics

The UNBSJ Seawolves (3-1-0) are battling their way up the ACAA Standings as they head to Halifax to face the league leading MSVU Mystics (4-0-0). Strong defensive efforts have been key to the Seawolves ascension, but they will be tested by the high scoring Mystics (CCAA No. 10). If the weather cooperates, UNBSJ will wrap up three games in five days with a match versus UKC on Sunday.


Aigles d'Ahuntsic vs. Vanier Cheetahs

The #1 ranked team in the county is travelling across town to face the defending CCAA Champions, as the Aigles d’Ahuntsic visit the Vanier Cheetahs. Ahuntsic (4-0-0) is off to a red-hot start to the season, recording wins over conference and national powerhouses like Vanier, Garneau and Sainte-Foy. A victory for the Cheetahs would even the season series and shake up the RSEQ and CCAA rankings.


OCAA Invitational Hosted by Seneca Sting
OCAA Cross-Country Running

The Seneca Sting are kickstarting the OCAA's Cross-Country Running season with an Invitational Race featuring a slate of teams from across the province. The field has increased this season and includes Cambrian, Centennial, Conestoga, Confederation, Fanshawe, Fleming, Humber, Lambton, Laurier-Brantford, Loyalist, Mohawk, Redeemer, St. Clair, St. Lawrence, Seneca, and Sheridan.


Brandon Bobcats vs. PUC Pilots
MCAC Men's Soccer
September 24 at 1:00 p.m. CT

     

It’s tight atop the MCAC standings with Les Rouges de l’Université de Saint-Boniface (3-1-0), Brandon Bobcats (3-1-0) and Providence University College Pilots (2-1-0) having similar records. Thus far the teams have traded vistories - USB defeated BU, BU beat PUC and PUC edged out USB - in three tight contests. The Bobcats and Pilots are now set to battle in the first rematch of the season with the chance to claim top spot in the conference.


ACAC Championships Hosted by CUE Thunder
ACAC Golf

Hosted by the Concordia Thunder, at Redtail Landing Golf Club in Edmonton, the ACAC will crown their golf champions this weekend. Heading into the conference championship, the SAIT Trojans won both women's regional tournaments while the Trojans and Medicine Hat Rattlers claimed a victory each in the men’s competitions. SAIT is ranked No. 3 in the CCAA while Medicine Hat is currently No. 7.


Douglas Royals vs. Langara Falcons

It’s still early in the season, but a match between the Langara Falcons (2-0-1) and Douglas Royals (1-0-1) has the potential to establish top spot in the PACWEST. Both squads are featured prominently in the CCAA Rankings, with the Royals at No. 2 and Falcons at No. 7.   The teams played to a 1-1 draw to open their 2022 campaigns, which will culminate when Langara hosts the CCAA Championships in November.
