Holland Hurricanes vs. Dragons de Sainte-Anne

The Dragons de Sainte-Anne (2-0) earned two tough road wins to open the season and now welcome the Holland Hurricanes (2-0) to their home court.  The Hurricanes are currently No. 10 after 3-1 victories over STU and DalAC while the fiery Dragons grinded out five set victories over UNBSJ and MTA. USTA were looking up at Holland in the standings last season, but both are on top heading into this match.


Nomades de Montmorency vs. Dawson Blues

November 4 at 8:45 p.m. ET

     

There is a four-way tie for second place in the RSEQ Standings, with two of those squads squaring off this weekend. The Nomades de Montmorency (3-1) are visiting the Dawson Blues (3-1) in a battle featuring the No. 12 and No. 7 ranked teams in the CCAA respectively. Both teams were in the RSEQ Final Four last season and are likely to be contenders again this year.


Niagara Knights vs. Lambton Lions

November 6 at 1:00 p.m. ET

     

The Lambton Lions (2-0) will be looking to #DefendTheDen when they host the Niagara Knights for their season home opener this Sunday. The Lions made a giant leap up the CCAA Big Board to No. 9 in the country (previously not listed) following two dominant road wins to open their season. The Knights (CCAA No. 13) will be a tough test though having finished second in the OCAA West last season.


PUC Pilots vs. CMU Blazers
MCAC Men's Volleyball
November 4 at 6:00 p.m. CT

     

The season just got underway, but the Canadian Mennonite University Blazers (1-0) and Providence University College Pilots (1-0) have a home-and-home series with first place on the line. CMU (CCAA No. 11) is the defending MCAC Champion while PUC earned the regular season crown and silver medals last season. Bragging rights and a lead in the standings are on the line when these rivals meet this weekend.


NAIT Ooks vs. Ambrose Lions

November 4 at 8:00 p.m. MT
     

The ACAC North’s second place NAIT Ooks (3-1) have a tough road weekend ahead as they travel south to battle the undefeated Ambrose Lions (4-0) and Lethbridge Kodiaks (4-0). The Lions and Kodiaks currently sit atop the South Division standings after both recorded double-header sweeps over Olds and Briercrest. The Ooks are one game behind the CCAA’s No. 3 ranked team, the Keyano Huskies.


COTR Avalanche vs. VIU Mariners
PACWEST Women's Volleyball
November 4 at 5:00 p.m. PT

Friday Night is “Spike Night” in the PACWEST as the COTR Avalanche (3-1) travel to face the VIU Mariners (4-0). The defending National Champions opened the season ranked No. 1 in the CCAA while the Avalanche are off to a hot start and second place tie with the Douglas Royals. VIU and COTR will play a follow up match Saturday morning at 11 a.m. PT.
