The Atlantic’s two hottest teams are headed for a showdown when the Mount Allison Mounties (6-2) visit the MSVU Mystics (9-1). Their previous meeting came down to the wire with the Mounties (CCAA No. 11) controlling the play around the glass but MSVU (CCAA No. 2) capitalizing from the foul line for the win.

Nordiques de Lionel-Groulx vs. Gaillards de Jonquière

With identical records, the Nordiques de Lionel-Groulx (9-3) and Gaillards de Jonquière (9-3) will battle for sole possession of second place in the RSEQ. The Nordiques (CCAA No. 7) and Gaillards (CCAA No. 11) went the distance in October with Lionel-Groulx persevering in the fifth set.

Redeemer Royals vs. Fanshawe Falcons

The OCAA West leading Fanshawe Falcons (11-2) host the division’s fourth place Redeemer Royals (8-5) in a rematch of the 5-set season opener. Fanshawe is currently No. 4 in the country but beyond win percentage, the Royals match up statistically with the Falcons.

January 27 & 28 at 7:30 pm CT

This week the MCAC’s top two women’s teams are squaring off as Les Rouges de l’Université de Sainte Boniface (9-3) host the Providence University College Pilots (7-5). Les Rouges are ranked No. 13 in the CCAA but both squads are 2-2 in their last four and looking to establish position heading into the playoffs.

It is a stacked field in the ACAC South and this weekend features the Medicine Hat Rattlers (9-5) and St. Mary’s University Lightning (8-5) in a home and home series. The Rattlers are second in the division and StMU is right behind in third but there are a total of five teams within four points of each other.

With only a month to play, the Douglas Royals (7-5) and Okanagan Coyotes (5-5) sit side by side in the standings at third and fourth place respectively. The Royals (CCAA No. 14) bested the Coyotes early in the season but Okanagan has won four of their last five coming into this series.
