We are at the midway point of the 2022 CCAA Golf Championships presented by PING at the Deer Creek Golf Club in Ajax, Ontario. In addition to the Host Durham Lords, teams and individuals from Fanshawe, Humber, Georgian, St. Lawrence (OCAA), St. Clair, André-Laurendeau, John Abbott, Champlain St. Lawrence (RSEQ), SAIT, Medicine Hat, Portage and Concordia are vying to be crowned CCAA Champions.


UNBSJ Seawolves vs. MSVU Mystics
ACAA Women's Soccer
October 22 at 2:00 p.m. AT

     

The MSVU Mystics (7-0-3) and UNBSJ Seawolves (7-1-2) are holding onto first and second place respectively as the ACAA Championships loom. The teams played to a 0-0 draw a few weeks ago but a victory in this matchup could be the determining factor in who claims the regular season crown. The Mystics (CCAA No. 14) host STU and UNBSJ visits UKC to wrap things up on Sunday.


Aigles d’Ahuntsic vs. Élans de Garneau

The first-place Élans de Garneau are hosting the second place Aigles d’Ahuntsic to wrap up their regular seasons. A victory for Ahuntsic (CCAA No. 9) will pull them into a tie with Garneau (CCAA No. 4) but a victory for the Élans will guarantee them a first-round bye in the playoffs. The third place Nomades de Montmorency (CCAA No. 14) are within reach of both spots in the standings with a game in hand.


OCAA Crossover Matches & Playoffs

The top seven teams in the East & West Divisions, excluding Humber (men) and Durham (women) as Conference Championship Hosts, will compete in an inter-divisional qualifying round this weekend. The top seed in each division hosts the bottom seed in the opposite division, and so forth. The winners will advance to the OCAA Championships’ quarter-finals which take place October 26 (men) & 27 (women).


CMU Blazers vs. Brandon Bobcats

Ocotber 22 at 3:15 p.m. CT

     

The Brandon University Bobcats (4-4-2) and Canadian Mennonite University Blazers (4-5-1) will be trying to lock up third place heading into the MCAC Championships. The Bobcats currently hold a one-point edge in the standings, but the Blazers earned a win and draw during their previous meetings. Both teams will wrap up their regular seasons the next day with BU visiting PUC and CMU hosting USB.  


Lakeland Rustlers vs. TKU Eagles
ACAC Men's Soccer
October 22 at 2:00 pm MT
     

The King’s Eagles (5-3-2) host the Lakeland Rustlers (6-2-3) with playoff implications on the line during the final weekend of games. The Rustlers can lock up second place in the ACAC North and a bye to the Conference Championship with a victory. However, the Broncos have a game in hand and can leap from fourth to second with a pair of victories this weekend. Lakeland and TKU played to a 2-2 draw earlier in the season.


Douglas Royals vs. Capilano Blues
PACWEST Women's Soccer
Ocotber 22 at 1:00 pm PT & 23 at 1:30 p.m. PT
 

The Douglas Royals (5-3-2) and Capilano Blues (6-3-1) play a home-and-home series this weekend to wrap up the 2022 PACWEST regular season. After a pair of wins, the Blues (CCAA No. 10) sit a point back of the VIU Mariners (CCAA No. 3) while the Royals (CCAA No. 6) are still within reach of the top spot as well. Douglas and Capilano split their previous two matches with the home team winning each time.
