Capilano Blues vs. Douglas Royals

The 2019 men’s soccer season has been highly contested thus far, with all teams having a shot at the conference crown. The Capilano Blues (3-2-3) and Douglas Royals (3-4-1) are currently second and third in the standings, respectively, and play a home-and-home series this weekend. The Blues are currently No. 5 in the CCAA Rankings, while the Royals are hanging in at the 13th position.


Olds College vs. Lethbridge Kodiaks

With the Concordia Thunder getting a host berth to the 2019 CCAA Women’s Soccer National Championship this November, a team from the South Division would love to claim the other ACAC position. Two possible contenders for that coveted spot are the Olds Broncos (5-1-0) and Lethbridge Kodiaks (4-1-1), who face off this Sunday with first place in the division on the line.


*Brandon Bobcats vs. PUC Pilots
MCAC MEN'S SOCCER

Entering the second half of the MCAC men’s soccer season, the Brandon University Bobcats (3-0-1) and Providence University College Pilots (3-1-1) are tied for first with 10 points apiece. The undefeated Bobcats only blemish on their record came from the Pilots earlier this season, when the teams played to a 1-1 draw.


Seneca Sting vs. Algonquin Thunder

A battle of two unbeaten OCAA women’s soccer teams highlights the schedule this weekend in Ontario as the Seneca Sting (5-0) visit the Algonquin Thunder (6-0). Algonquin holds a slight edge in the OCAA standings with a game in hand, but the high-scoring Sting currently has the edge in the CCAA Rankings at No. 7, one spot above the Thunder, who come in at No. 8.


Indiens d'Ahuntsic vs. Ch. Saint-Lambert Cavaliers

The Champlain Saint-Lambert Cavaliers (3-0-2) continue the charge to defend their CCAA Championship, but they face another difficult test in the Indiens d’Ahuntsic (2-1-3). The Cavaliers remain No. 1 in the country but Ahuntsic are close behind in the competitive RSEQ and have risen to No. 10 in the CCAA.


Holland Hurricanes vs. St. Thomas Tommies
ACAA WOMEN'S SOCCER

Another match featuring undefeated teams involves the Holland Hurricanes (6-0-1) visiting the St. Thomas Tommies (6-0-1) with their identical records on the line. The Hurricanes (CCAA No. 15) have an impressive 24 goals for, but the Tommies (CCAA No. 11) have only allowed four against and have recorded four shut-out wins this season.


*NOTE: MCAC teams do not have access to CCAA National Championships until 2021-22.
