St. Thomas Tommies vs. Sainte-Anne Dragons
ACAA MEN'S VOLLEYBALL
January 18 @ 6 pm AT

The St. Thomas Tommies (6-1) are having a great season as they prepare to welcome the country’s best to the 2020 CCAA Men’s Volleyball Championship in March. However, just as impressive is the turnaround season that the Dragons of Sainte-Anne (4-3) are putting together, after finishing at the bottom of the standings for multiple seasons. With two ACAA spots up for grabs, the Tommies (CCAA No. 10) would like to be contenders as hosts and Sainte-Anne would love to make their first CCAA Championship return in almost 25 years.

Griffons de l'Outaouais vs. Volontaires de Sherbrooke
RSEQ MEN'S VOLLEYBALL
January 18 @ 3 pm ET

The Griffons de l’Outaouais (10-3) and Volontaires de Sherbrooke (9-2) have been jockeying for top spot in the RSEQ all season. The Griffons currently hold a slight edge in the standings with a slightly better record and the third-place national ranking. However, the Volontaires have matches in hand, are ranked No. 7 in the CCAA, and have 2-1 advantage over Outaouais in head-to-head matches.

Fanshawe Falcons vs. St. Clair Saints
OCAA MEN'S BASKETBALL
January 17 @ 8 pm ET

The Fanshawe Falcons (9-2) and St. Clair Saints (9-2) are the unanticipated leaders of the highly competitive OCAA West men’s basketball division. Long dominated by the likes of Humber, Sheridan, Redeemer and Mohawk, the Falcons (CCAA No. 11) and Saints (CCAA No. 14) are making statements on the court. A Friday night showdown will determine who carries the crown into the final half of the season.

*ACC Cougars vs. Rouges de l'USB
MCAC WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL
January 18 @ 1:30 pm CT

The Rouges de l’Université de Saint-Boniface (9-0) will look to continue their dominant season as they take on the Canadian Mennonite University Blazers (4-6) on Friday night and Assiniboine Community College Cougars (6-5) on Saturday. While both will be tough matches for the undefeated Rouges, ACC looks particularly dangerous going from an 0-5 start to winning their last six straight.

Lakeland Rustlers vs. Keyano Huskies
ACAC WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Jan. 17 @ 8 pm MT & Jan. 18 @ 3 pm MT

The Lakeland Rustlers (10-2) trek north to Fort Mac where they play a pair of games against the Keyano Huskies (10-2). These ACAC North teams not only share identical records but have near identical statistics as well, with the Rustlers holding a slight edge with a +150 PF/PA versus the Huskies +145 PF/PA. Lakeland also currently finds itself ranked No. 9 in the CCAA and is responsible for Keyano’s two losses earlier this season.

Douglas Royals vs. VIU Mariners
PACWEST WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL
Jan. 17 @ 6 pm PT & Jan. 18 @ 1 pm PT

The Douglas Royals (8-7) have a tough double header this weekend versus the CCAA’s top ranked VIU Mariners (14-0). VIU has won seven straight matches in three-set sweeps, however the last team to claim a set over them was the Royals. While the Mariners have a strong grasp on first place, Douglas is on a three-match win streak themselves which has seen them climb to third in the conference and No. 12 in the CCAA.

*NOTE: MCAC teams do not have access to CCAA National Championships until 2021-22.
