The Men’s Basketball field in the ACAA is as competitive as its been in years with Mount Allison (7-2) and St. Thomas (7-3) making claims for the conference crown. However, the reigning champion Holland Hurricanes (6-2, CCAA No. 12) aren’t going to relinquish the title easily and will have the chance to make a statement against the first placed Mounties (CCAA No. 10) this weekend. |

The Lynx d’Édouard-Montpetit (8-3) and Boomerang d’André-Laurendeau (6-5) are second and third in the RSEQ and ranked No. 9 and No. 14, respectively, in the CCAA. Each squad has a win over the other this season, so this rubber match offers important points with just one month left to play on the schedule. After visiting the Lynx, the Boomerang face another tough challenge the next day, as they host the undefeated Élans de Garneau (CCAA No. 5). |

The annual Falcons Fest kicks off at 1 p.m. with the CCAA’s No. 4 Ranked Women’s Volleyball team taking on No. 15 Humber, followed by the Falcons Men’s squad facing No. 1 Humber. After the volleyball games, the No. 8 Fanshawe Women’s Basketball team will battle against No. 4 Humber in a must see first-place showdown starting at 5 p.m. To conclude the quad-header, the No. 11 Men’s Basketball team will square off against the Hawks at 7 p.m. |

The Providence University College Pilots (9-2) are the hottest team in Manitoba right now, riding a five-match win streak to the top of the MCAC Standings. However, they are visiting the second place Assiniboine Community College Cougars (7-5) who have nearly as many set wins as their opponents. The last time the Pilots and Cougars squared off was a back-and-forth thriller that was claimed by PUC in the fifth set. |

The Lethbridge Kodiaks (13-0) have clawed their way to the top of the CCAA Rankings but they will be challenged this weekend by the Red Deer Kings (6-5). RDC is a few points behind Lethbridge in the standings but the Kings gave the Kodiaks their biggest scare of the season, pushing them to overtime in an earlier matchup. |

CCAA top ranked VIU (16-0) will be tough to topple but there are several quality teams in the PACWEST to challenge for the Championship and the two births to Nationals. The Camosun Chargers (12-5) and UFV Cascades (8-9) are two of those teams gunning for a spot in the playoffs. This is the second doubleheader of the season between the Chargers (CCAA No. 7) and Cascades (CCAA No. 13), the first of which they split 1-1. |
