Parity is the name of the game in ACAA women’s basketball with Holland (10-3), MSVU (10-3) and St. Thomas (10-3) still in a dead heat and UKC (9-5) not far behind. While the Hurricanes are elsewhere, the Mystics and Kings travel to Fredericton to take on the Tommies. Recent results have seen MSVU fall and UKC rise in the CCAA Rankings, while St. Thomas would love to jump both with a pair of wins. |

The CCAA’s No. 1 Vanier Cheetahs (13-1) will put their top ranking on the line against the Dynamiques de Jean-de-Brébeuf (11-2). Vanier defeated No. 6 ranked Brébeuf in their first meeting back in November, but both teams have several dominant wins since that time. In terms of scoring, the Cheetahs have a league leading 1,225 points for, while the Dynamiques’ 847 points against is the best in the RSEQ. |
OCAA Badminton Championships OCAA Curling Championships |

The OCAA is wrapping up two of their tournament sports this week with both the Badminton and Curling Conference Championships taking place. The Conestoga Condors are hosting eight other badminton teams hoping to qualify for the CCAA Championships at UTM. Meanwhile, the Fleming Knights are hosting curling, which this year includes a Mixed Doubles competition at the conference level for the first time. |

The MCAC’s first placed Rouges de l’Université de Saint-Boniface (15-2) are hosting the third place Assiniboine Community College Cougars (8-10). USB looked untouchable for much of the season, but a pair of recent losses showed they can be beat. Meanwhile, the Cougars will wrap up their season this weekend, looking to lock in their position in the Conference’s final four. |

It’s a rare occurrence in the regular season, but this weekend features a pair of matches between two of the top five teams in the country. The Briercrest Clippers (20-0) are ranked No. 2 in the CCAA while the Red Deer Queens (18-2) are close behind at No. 5. Both teams are on massive win streaks, considering that the Queens only losses occurred when they opened the season against the Clippers in October. |

With a couple games in hand, the CCAA’s No. 2 Ranked Douglas Royals (15-1) wrap their season up this weekend against the Camosun Chargers. Camosun was undefeated in January but have dropped their last three, while the Royals are on an eight-game win streak. Douglas can lock down first place going into the playoffs with a pair of wins, but the Chargers will put up a fight as they try to maintain their third place standing. |
