Nov. 10, 2015 – The Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association is proud to announce the 2015 CCAA Men’s Soccer All-Canadians.

The student-athletes, who are selected by their conference based on performance and contribution to the sport and their team, were honoured at a banquet during the 2015 CCAA Men’s Soccer National Championship, hosted by Champlain College in Saint-Lambert, QC.

Here are the 2015 Men’s Soccer All-Canadians:

Devin Phelan		Kristian Yli-Hietanen
Douglas Royals		Capilano Blues
Phelan captained the Royals to a first-place finish in the PACWEST. The fifth-year defender was the anchor on the back line for Douglas this season, playing a key part in their defence by shutting down attacking opponents. The Royals allowed an average of one goal per game against and posted seven shutouts.		Yli-Hietanen captured the PACWEST scoring title in his rookie season with the Blues. The first-year striker scored eight goals in 14 games. After Capilano went winless in September to start to the season, Yli-Hietanen led the Blues to a surprising playoff berth with a third-place finish in the conference.

Pedro Bianchi		Nico Pasquotti
Keyano Huskies		Lethbridge Kodiaks
Bianchi led the Huskies to a 9-0-1 record in the ACAC and a first-place finish in the North Division. The Keyano captain, who had an overall 3.0 GPA in 2014-15, scored 10 goals in nine games. Bianchi’s Huskies, coming off a trip to Nationals last fall, sat atop the CCAA rankings for much of the season.		Pasquotti led the Kodiaks to an 8-1-1 record in the ACAC with 19 goals in 10 games. He developed into a leader this season and had a friendly scoring competition with teammate Peter Ntignee that resulted in a Lethbridge program record 47 goals. Pasquotti suited up for Alberta in the Canada Summer Games.

Jaineil Hoilett		Brandon Mendes
Humber Hawks		Fanshawe Falcons
Hoilett scored five goals in his rookie season, leading the Hawks to a 9-0-1 record and first-place finish in the Central Division. He is a highly-touted prospect who was selected in the third round of the MLS Draft. Hoilett’s pace and quick feet make him a dangerous winger who can deliver accurate crosses or create shooting opportunities.		Mendes led the Falcons to a 7-1-2 record and first-place finish in the West Division. The third-year centre/back was a co-captain for Fanshawe, which allowed only six goals against all season. Mendes continually stands out in every game for his quality on the ball, his athletic ability as well as his leadership.

Omar Kreim		Will Hodges
Nomades de Montmorency		Saint-Lambert Cavaliers
Kreim played every minute of every game with the Nomades this season and was named the top player in the RSEQ. The third-year midfielder, who had an 85% average in 2014-15, finished second in the conference in goals. Despite his small stature, Kreim wins one-on-one battles both in the air and on the ground.		Hodges led the Cavaliers to a 6-1-1 record and first-place finish in the RSEQ. The rookie forward led the conference with eight goals in eight games. His commitment to improving his technical skills and his movement off the ball have helped complete his overall game. Hodges is a great teammate and has a calm and confident demeanor both on and off the field.

Ibrahima Sanoh		Jeff Rodgerson
Holland Hurricanes		MSVU Mystics
Sanoh led the Hurricanes to an 11-0-1 record and first-place finish in the conference. The back-to-back ACAA MVP is now also a two-time All-Canadian. Sanoh, who led the conference with 12 goals, is a true gentleman on and off the pitch. He leads by example and pushes his teammates to excel.		Rodgerson scored seven goals for the Mystics, leading them to a second-place finish in the ACAA. The fifth-year striker has become a leading force on the pitch for MSVU. With his sterling first touch, elusive movement and seemingly endless energy, Rodgerson propelled himself to the top tier of players in the conference.
