"Enevoldson has seen much success since being named head coach at Douglas College," said Jonathan Lambert, CCAA Men's Basketball Convenor. "He has used a well-developed mixture of domestic and international talent to become one of the premier programs in the CCAA."

After posting a 12-6 record a year ago, Enevoldson guided the Royals to a 17-1 record and first-place finish in the Pacific Western Athletic Association (PACWEST). Douglas captured its second conference crown in three years with a victory over the VIU Mariners in the PACWEST Championship final.

The Royals sat atop the final CCAA rankings of the season.

At Douglas, Enevoldson takes an active role with his student-athletes on and off the court. He supervises and provide academic tutoring and support during the Team Study Hall. He also coordinates community service initiatives, such as the Terry Fox Run and the CCAA Make Some Noise for Mental Health initiative, to foster leadership development and social awareness.

Enevoldson is the Manager of Boys High Performance and a Technical Director at Basketball BC, where he also works with the U17 provincial team. In addition, he serves as the Technical Director for the Tri-Cities Youth Basketball Association.

At the conference level, Enevoldson is the PACWEST Men's Basketball Convenor. Within this role, he has been an advocate for various student-athlete centered initiatives to ensure the development of the sport within the PACWEST and the CCAA.

"Joe is the consummate professional and asset to the Athletics and Douglas College community," said Brian McLennon, Director, Athletics and Recreation at Douglas College. "He is involved in various College and Athletics initiatives that contribute the student-athletes' experience and well-being."
