The PACWEST Player of the Year led the Royals to a first-place finish in the conference with a 17-1 record. Anderson, a fourth-year guard, averaged 18.9 points per game and four assists per game. He is a complete student-athlete who demonstrates exceptional leadership qualities. Anderson is always personable and appreciative and has quickly become a favourite among his peers on campus. His determination, perseverance and work ethic are a testament to his well-deserved achievements.

The PACWEST Defensive Player of the Year led the defending CCAA Champion Mariners to a 16-2 record and second-place finish in the conference. Barfoot led the PACWEST with 10.8 rebounds per game and averaged 16 points per game. The fourth-year forward guards all five positions on the floor and his versatility carries over to the offensive end as he can handle the ball, pass, shoot the three, and play inside. Equally, Barfoot is a first-class person, an excellent student, and VIU’s team captain.

The ACAC Player of the Year led the Kodiaks to a 20-1 record and first-place finish in the ACAC South Division. In his first year at Lethbridge, Dewsbery averaged 21.3 points per game, 7.4 rebounds per game and 4.2 assists per game. His biggest attributes are his competitiveness and passion for the game. The enthusiastic Dewsbery is a lively character with a contagious personality. He is just as fiery in basic practice drills as he is in games.

Clancey is a gifted offensive player who dominates all over the court. He led the ACAC with 26.6 points per game and ranked among conference leaders with 9.5 rebounds per game as well as 61 steals. The dynamic third-year guard also averaged four assists per game and led NAIT to a third-place finish in the ACAC North Division with a 14-10 record. Clancey put the Ooks on his back at the ACAC Championships, where NAIT ousted first-place Lethbridge in the quarter-finals.

Nick Campbell

Campbell, a fifth-year guard, led the OCAA West Division in scoring with 24.6 points per game. The OCAA Player of the Year also contributed 124 rebounds, 48 assists and 41 steals. Campbell’s quiet leadership is best demonstrated by the fact that he led the Bruins in scoring as well as charges taken. He has sacrificed individual accomplishments for team goals repeatedly. Campbell, a two-time CCAA silver medalist, wraps up his collegiate career as Sheridan’s all-time leading scorer.

Lewis led the Sting to a 17-3 record and tie atop the OCAA East Division standings. The second-year guard ranked among OCAA leaders with 21.8 points per game and shot an impressive 41.7% from the three-point line. Lewis took on the role of mentor with a relatively young team at Seneca; he is not afraid to have his voice heard and always holds his teammates accountable. Lewis is an intense competitor but always displays a calm and respectful demeanor with opposing players and coaches.

The RSEQ Player of the Year led the Dynamiques to a second-place finish in the conference with a 15-3 record. Lamaute, a physical guard, averaged 17.3 points per game as well as 7.3 rebounds per game. He is a fierce competitor and has developed into a leader at Brébeuf, where he is loved by his teammates. Lamaute always finds a way to impact the game, regardless of the score. He also finds the time to coach his former youth team, the Saint-Bruno Cougars.

Mane, a two-time CCAA All-Canadian, led the Cheetahs to a 16-2 record and first-place finish in the RSEQ. The third-year guard led the conference with 5.4 assists per game and was also among RSEQ leaders with 15.9 points per game and 7.9 rebounds per game. Mane is an extremely humble student-athlete and, despite all the attention he has received, remains focused on his goals. He currently works as a peer tutor and continues to be a great example of what a student-athlete should be.

The ACAA Player of the Year led the Hurricanes to the top of the ACAA standings with a 15-3 record. Holness, a second-year guard, led the conference with 20.3 points per game and three steals per game. As one of just two returning players, he stepped outside of his naturally reserved demeanor to become the vocal leader of a young Holland team. Holness displayed a team-first attitude and a commitment to development in shouldering the load as the Hurricanes found their identity throughout the campaign.

After missing the ACAA playoffs a year ago, Lavoie led an improved St. Thomas team to a 12-6 record and tie for third place in the conference. The second-year forward averaged 16.8 points per game and shot 41.7% from the three-point line. Lavoie also averaged six rebounds per game and added 46 assists and 27 steals. He is a serious student-athlete who is developing into a leader with the Tommies. Lavoie is also respectful and competitive.
