Quarter-final matchups for CCAA Women's Soccer

Vanier Cheetahs (A1)
vs.
Holland Hurricanes (A4)

Wednesday, Nov. 10
MATCH 1: 10 a.m. ET

The Vanier Cheetahs will represent the always competitive RSEQ as a Wildcard team. The Cheetahs cruised to a 9-0-1 record and first-place finish in the regular season but fell to the Dynamiques de Sainte-Foy (penalty kicks) in the gold-medal game at the Conference Championships. Vanier is led by RSEQ Player of the Year Latifah Abdu. They’ll face the Holland Hurricanes, the ACAA Champions. The Hurricanes finished atop the ACAA standings with a 9-2-1 record. Holland weathered the storm in terrible conditions to defeat the Mount Saint Vincent University Mystics 2-0 in the final at the Conference Championships. 


Capilano Blues (A2)
vs.
Fanshawe Falcons (A3)

Wednesday, Nov. 10
MATCH 2: 12:30 p.m. ET

The Capilano Blues, PACWEST Champions, came from behind in the gold-medal final to defeat the Douglas Royals 2-1. Led by PACWEST Player of the Year Claire Ye, the 7-1-1 Blues finished in a tie for first place in the conference with Douglas. They’ll face the Fanshawe Falcons, OCAA Champions. Fanshawe captured its third consecutive OCAA title with a 2-1 victory over the St. Lawrence Surge in the gold-medal final at the Conference Championships. The Falcons, led by fifth-year striker Kayla McQueen, finished atop the OCAA West Division standings with a 5-0-1 record. 


SAIT Trojans (B2)
vs.
Humber Hawks (B3)

Wednesday, Nov. 10
MATCH 3: 3 p.m. ET

The SAIT Trojans, ACAC Champions, blanked the NAIT Ooks 1-0 at the Conference Championships to book their ticket to CCAA Nationals. SAIT had a perfect 6-0 record to finish atop the ACAC South Division standings. They’ll face the host Humber Hawks of the OCAA. Humber finished second in the OCAA Central Division with a 4-2 record. The Hawks were eliminated from gold-medal contention in the semi-finals at the Conference Championships after a 1-0 defeat at the hands of the Fanshawe Falcons. Humber did, however, defeat the Seneca Sting in the OCAA bronze-medal match. 


Dynamiques

Rouges
de Saint-Boniface (B4)

Wednesday, Nov. 10
MATCH 4: 5:30 p.m. ET

The Dynamiques de Sainte-Foy, defending CCAA Champions, will represent the RSEQ once again. Sainte-Foy defeated Vanier (penalty kicks) in the gold-medal match at the Conference Championships. The Dynamiques finished second in the RSEQ during the regular season with a 6-2-2 record. They’ll face the Rouges de Saint-Boniface, the MCAC Champions. Saint-Boniface will represent Manitoba, which is making its debut at CCAA Nationals. The Rouges defended their MCAC title with a 2-0 victory over the Brandon Bobcats in gold-medal game at the Conference Championships final.
