Match 12 - Nordiques de Lionel-Groulx 3, Humber Hawks 1The Nordiques de Lionel-Groulx have won bronze at 2024 CCAA Women’s Volleyball National Championship. With a match-high 16 kills from Jade Genereux, the Nordiques defeated the Humber Hawks in four sets (25-21, 23-25, 25-20 and 25-17). Teammate Sandrine Methot contributed 10 kills, 10 digs and one of the Nordiques’ 10 service aces. Libero Camille Dufort recorded 15 digs and three assists for the Réseau du sport étudiant du Québec (RSEQ) Champions. The Humber Hawks were led offensively by Te-Anna Stephenson (11 kills) and Keyome Ellis (10 kills). First-year setter Kennedy Williscroft had 34 assists and one of the Hawks’ four aces. Libero Reese Cholette picked up 24 digs for the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) Champions Dufort was named the 4imprint Nordiques Player of the Match. Ellis was recognized as the 4imprint Hawks Player of the Game. |
