The Humber Hawks claim the CCAA Men’s Soccer Crown


Championship Match: Championship Final Recap: The CCAA National Championship final was a thriller from start to finish, as the Humber Hawks and Algonquin Wolves gave it their all in an intense battle. Humber’s #10 and tournament MVP, Franz Mella, opened the scoring, giving the Hawks a 1-0 lead heading into halftime. The second half saw pressure from both teams, with the Wolves pushing for a comeback. Bronze Medal Match: The Champlain Cavaliers took charge in the bronze medal match, showcasing their strength against the Langara Falcons. Guillaume Brunet opened the scoring at the 32-minute mark, sending the Cavaliers into halftime with a 1-0 lead. Thomas Fraser extended the advantage in the second half, and Isaak Simic sealed the deal with a third goal, at 65th min securing the Cavaliers a well-deserved bronze medal. Final score for the bronze medal match was 3-0 for Champlain Players of the game were Julien Raymond for Cavaliers and Taigo Shimada for the Falcons.
