Vanier Cheetahs (A1)

The Vanier Cheetahs completed a perfect season in Quebec with a thrilling 73-71 victory over the Nomades de Montmorency in the RSEQ Championship final. Led by RSEQ Player of the Year Karim Mane, the Cheetahs cruised to a first-place finish in the RSEQ with a 16-0 record. They’ll face the Humber Hawks, the OCAA’s Wildcard entry. Humber was defeated 86-70 by their long-time rival, the Sheridan Bruins, in the OCAA Championship final. The Hawks, who will host the 2020 CCAA Men’s Basketball National Championship, finished atop the OCAA West Division standings with an 18-2 record. |

SAIT Trojans (A2)

The SAIT Trojans completed the three-peat in Alberta with a 95-84 victory over the Concordia Thunder in the ACAC Championship final. Led by fourth-year guard John Smith, the Trojans finished first overall in the ACAC South Division with an impressive 20-1 record. They’ll face the VIU Mariners, who defeated the Douglas Royals 89-82 in a thrilling overtime in the PACWEST Championships final. The Mariners are led by second-year guard Harry Fayle, who was named the PACWEST Player of the Year. VIU finished atop the PACWEST standings with a 16-2 record. |

Sheridan Bruins (B2)

The Sheridan Bruins defeated the Humber Hawks 86-70 in the OCAA Championship final. The Bruins finished second in the OCAA West Division with a 15-5 record. Sheridan ousted the defending CCAA National Champion Seneca Sting 84-63 in the OCAA semi-finals. They’ll face the Nomades de Montmorency, the RSEQ’s Wildcard team. The Nomades, CCAA National Champions in 2017, were narrowly defeated 73-71 by the Vanier Cheetahs in the RSEQ Championship final. Montmorency, led by third-year forward Élie Karojo, placed second in the RSEQ with a 13-3 record. |

Holland Hurricanes (B1)

The Holland Hurricanes defeated the Mount Allison Mounties 86-71 in the ACAA Championship final to capture their seventh straight conference title. The Hurricanes, led by ACAA Player of the Year Jace Colley, cruised to a first-place finish in the conference with a perfect 21-0 record. They’ll face the host Langara Falcons, who were ousted in the PACWEST quarter-finals at the hands of the Camosun Chargers, 93-91. Langara finished fourth in the PACWEST with a 9-9 record in the regular season. |
