Quarter-final matchups for CCAA Men's Soccer

Humber Hawks (A1)
vs.
Brandon Bobcats (A4)

Wednesday, Nov. 10
MATCH 1: 10 a.m. MT

The Humber Hawks, OCAA Champions, captured their third straight provincial crown with a 4-0 victory over the George Brown Huskies in the gold-medal final at the Conference Championships. The Hawks, led by fifth-year defender Luca Gasparotto, finished atop the OCAA Central with a 5-0-1 record. They’ll face the Brandon Bobcats, MCAC Champions. Brandon successfully defended its MCAC title with a 4-0 victory over the Canadian Mennonite University Blazers in the gold-medal final at the Conference Championships. The Bobcats will proudly represent Manitoba, which is making its debut at CCAA Nationals. The Bobcats finished second overall in the MCAC this season with a 9-2-1 record. 


Nomades de Momo (A2)
vs.
NAIT Ooks (A3)

Wednesday, Nov. 10
MATCH 2: 12:30 p.m. MT

The Nomades de Montmorency, RSEQ Champions, defeated the Aigles d’Ahuntsic 3-1 in the gold-medal game at the Conference Championships. Montmorency went 8-1-1 during the regular season and finished in a tie for first place atop the RSEQ standings with Ahuntsic. They’ll face the NAIT Ooks, who will represent the ACAC as the Host team. NAIT, led by third-year forward/midfielder Christian Lima, went 5-0-1 to finish atop the ACAC North Division standings. The Ooks fell 3-2 to the SAIT Trojans in the gold-medal game at the Conference Championships. 


SAIT Trojans (B2)
vs.
St. Thomas Tommies (B3)

Wednesday, Nov. 10
MATCH 3: 3 p.m. MT

The SAIT Trojans, ACAC Champions, will have home-field advantage on their side in Calgary, AB. Led by Eduardo Filho and Nicolas Gonzalez, the Trojans finished atop the ACAC South Division standings with a 5-0-1 record. SAIT defeated the NAIT Ooks 3-2 in the gold-medal game at the Conference Championships. They’ll face the St. Thomas Tommies, the ACAA Champions. St. Thomas, led by ACAA Player of the Year Brett Springer, went 10-0-2 to finish atop the conference standings during the regular season. The Tommies defeated the Holland Hurricanes (penalty kicks) in the gold-medal final at the Conference Championships. 


Douglas Royals (B1)
vs.
George Brown Huskies (B4)

Wednesday, Nov. 10
MATCH 4: 5:30 p.m. MT

The Douglas Royals, PACWEST Champions, defended their title with a 2-0 victory over the Vancouver Island University Mariners in the gold-medal game at the Conference Championships. Led by rookie forward Ryosuke Sudo, Douglas finished atop the PACWEST standings with a 5-3-1 record. They’ll face the George Brown Huskies, who will represent the OCAA as a Wildcard team. The Huskies fell 4-0 to the Humber Hawks in the final at the Conference Championships. George Brown, who finished 2-4 in the tough OCAA Central Division, squeaked by the heavily favoured Seneca Sting 2-1 in the semi-final.
