The Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) announces Vanier College as the host for the upcoming CCAA Men's Basketball Championship in 2025. A longstanding member of the CCAA since 1979, Vanier College's Men's Division 1 Basketball program has consistently showcased excellence, representing the RSEQ seven times at CCAA Men's National Championship in the last two decades.

Mai Anh Nguyen, Student Life Advisor-Athletics said, “We are thrilled to be the host of the 2025 Men’s Basketball National Championship; it has been over 40 year since Vanier has been a host of a National Championship.  Our community, and our college are excited to welcome all the teams across the country to an exciting week of Basketball in March 2025.”

Located in Ville St-Laurent, with three full-size gymnasiums and a seating capacity of approximately 1000 fans, the college is well-equipped to provide an exceptional setting for the CCAA Men's Basketball Championship in 2025.

CCAA basketball convenor Jonathan Lamber said, "Vanier College will proudly take center court as they host the pinnacle of collegiate basketball excellence in Canada - the 2025 CCAA Men's Basketball National Championship. With a legacy of premier talent and a commitment to sportsmanship deeply embedded in their team's DNA, the Cheetahs stand poised to welcome seven other formidable teams from across our great nation. This prestigious event will not only showcase the electrifying athleticism of CCAA student-athletes but also the unwavering dedication and camaraderie that define collegiate sports. From the thunderous dunks to the precision of each three-point shot, fans will be treated to a spectacle of skill, strategy, and sheer determination. The 2024 CCAA Men’s Basketball National Championship will be hosted by Mount Allison University in Sackville, NB, from March 13-16, 2024.
