Mizuno Canada Ltd. is the Official Volleyball Footwear, Accessory and Apparel Supplier of the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA). Mizuno, the #1 Volleyball brand in Canada, will serve as the presenting sponsor of the CCAA’s weekly National Volleyball Rankings as well as the end of season Volleyball All-Canadian Awards. “We are thrilled to join forces with the CCAA,” said Dave Bartlett, Director of Sales and Marketing Team Sports Division. “Our mission is to inspire athletes and enhance their performance, and we believe this partnership will enable us to do just that. We look forward to working closely with the CCAA Team to develop programs and initiatives that will benefit the player, the institution and the community they are situated in” Mizuno, a national and global leader in the sport of volleyball, has a storied history of supporting athletes at all levels, and the partnership with the CCAA is a testament to its dedication to youth sports. “National and local partners are essential to the success of post-secondary athletics, and this collaboration enhances the CCAA’s volleyball programming and reputation,” said Brandon Stone, CCAA Chief Executive Officer. “The CCAA is grateful for the contributions that Mizuno is providing for the next several years.” Mizuno’s contributions to the CCAA includes a combination of programming support, product donations and purchase incentives for CCAA events, student-athletes and member institutions over the next three seasons. An interesting element to the collaboration sees the 2014 CCAA Women’s Volleyball Player of the Year, Kelly Nyhof (Humber Polytechnic), serving as a key manager in the partnership. “My experience as a CCAA athlete taught me lessons in teamwork, resilience, and leadership that continue to guide me today,” said Nyhof, Volleyball Territory Manager Mizuno Canada. “Returning now in a professional setting with Mizuno and partnering with the CCAA feels like coming full circle.” “It’s a privilege and an incredible opportunity that allows me to give back to the community that played such an important role in my life and to support and equip the next generation of student-athletes who share the same passion and drive that shaped my own journey,” added Nyhof. Mizuno’s partnership with the CCAA includes the 2025-26, 2026-27 and 2027-28 seasons and National Championships. |
