Douglas Royals vs. VIU Mariners

The Men's Basketball season is in its infancy, but a significant showdown is set to take place between the Douglas Royals (2-0) and the VIU Mariners (2-0). The Royals, No. 5 in the CCAA, are just three spots up on the defending conference champion Mariners, who are currently No. 8 in the country. The winner of this match can set the pace for the season, as all PACWEST teams battle for a birth in the CCAA National Championship.

ACAC BADMINTON

Student-athletes from the Olds Broncos, NAIT Ooks, and TKU Eagles will travel to the Home of the Thunder to kick-off the ACAC Badminton season. Concordia University of Edmonton will bookend the year as hosts, as they are set to welcome the best players from across the country to the CCAA Badminton National Championships February 28 to March 3.


Fanshawe Falcons vs. Redeemer Royals
OCAA MEN'S VOLLEYBALL
November 18 at 3 p.m. ET

     

The OCAA West Division Leading Fanshawe Falcons (5-0) will take their undefeated record into den of the Redeemer Royals (3-1), who are also off to a strong start this season. The Falcons have earned medals at three of the last four OCAA Men's Volleyball Championships and are currently ranked 7th in the CCAA. The Royals appear to be on the rise again after being a few years removed from their own impressive run of OCAA top-three finishes. 


Cavaliers de Bois-de-Boulogne vs. Élans de Garneau
RSEQ WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL
November 18 at 3:30 p.m. ET
     

The Cavaliers currently sit first in the RSEQ standings in Women's Volleyball with a 5-1 record and are ranked No. 5 in the CCAA. They'll travel to Quebec City on Saturday to face the Élans (4-3), who were bumped from the National Rankings last week after three-straight losses. Garneau's current slide began on Oct. 28 in a four-set loss at the hands of Bois-de-Boulogne in Montreal.


Holland Hurricanes vs. Mount Allison Mounties
ACAA WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
November 18 at 2 p.m. AT
     

Mount Allison, host of the 2018 CCAA Women's Basketball National Championship in March, has jumped out to a 5-0 start and sits atop the ACAA standings. On Saturday, the Mounties will host the Holland Hurricanes (2-1), the defending conference champions, who are currently tied for second in the ACAA. Mount Allison (No. 7) and Holland (No. 12) are both currently nationally ranked.
