UFV Cascades vs. Capilano Blues
PACWEST WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL
January 25 & 27 at 6 p.m. PT
 

The UFV Cascades (10-6) and the Capilano Blues (10-8) are currently tied for third with 20 points each. However, this pair of matches may determine who has the advantage as the conference playoffs near. The Cascades and Blues are #7 and #11 respectively in the CCAA Rankings which have been dominated by PACWEST teams this season.


ACAC Winter Regional
ACAC Curling
January 26-28
     

The ACAC Mens, Womens and Mixed Curling Teams are headed to the Avonair Curling Club, as the Concordia Thunder host the conference's winter regional bonspiel. This is the second of three ACAC events before the curling season culminates March 24-28, 2018 in Leduc, AB. In partnership with Curling Canada the Leduc Recreation Centre will play host to four Canadian championship events, including the CCAA National Championships.


Sheridan Bruins vs. Humber Hawks
OCAA MEN'S BASKETBALL
January 25 at 8 p.m. ET

     

They meet again. The Humber Hawks (9-4) welcome the Sheridan Bruins (11-1) for their 119th match-up and another chapter in one of the most storied rivalries in the CCAA. Since 2000, these two programs have combined for 13 provincial championships and 26 combined titles since 1967. Earlier this season Sheridan (CCAA #9) cruised to an 88-73 victory and its fifth consecutive win over the Hawks.


Dynamiques de Sainte-Foy vs. Nomades de Montmorency
RSEQ WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

The Dynamiques de Sainte-Foy (6-2) cap off their busy week with a visit to the Nomades de Montmorency (8-1). Sainte-Foy (CCAA #7) and Montmorency (CCAA #3) are both chasing the undefeated Dawson Blues (CCAA #1) both in the RSEQ Standings and the CCAA Rankings. The Dynamiques, who have a rich CCAA History, were recently announced as the Hosts of the 2019 CCAA Women's Basketball National Championship.


ACAA Tournament #4 Hosted by Dalhousie AC
ACAA BADMINTON

January 27 at 10 a.m. AT

     

The Dalhousie AC Rams are hosting the conference's best this weekend at the ACAA's fourth badminton tournament of the season. While the athlete's tune-up their skills for the upcoming conference and CCAA championships, Dalhousie AC will also be taking notes for next year. The Rams were just awarded the rights to Host the 2019 CCAA Badminton National Championships.
