Douglas Royals vs. VIU Mariners

The western conferences have dominated the CCAA Women’s Volleyball Rankings this season, and the PACWEST features a double header of two teams at the top. The Douglas Royals (17-3), #1 in the country, travel to the island to take on the VIU Mariners (16-4) who are currently ranked #4. The teams split their previous series with one win a piece, but the Royals are riding a seven game win streak and will be looking to secure their spot at the top.


ACAC Championship Hosted by The King's Eagles
ACAC BADMINTON

The King’s University Eagles hosts the NAIT Ooks, Concordia Thunder and Olds Broncos this weekend at the 2017-18 Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) Badminton Championships.  The top badminton athletes from Alberta will compete to determine this season's men's and women's singles, doubles and mixed champions.  The winners will then continue on to the CCAA Badminton National Championships at Concordia University of Edmonton February 28 - March 3, 2018.


Humber Hawks vs. Fanshawe Falcons 
OCAA WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

The Fanshawe Falcons (14-2), who are undefeated at home, welcome the Humber Hawks (17-0), who are undefeated on the season. Both teams are coming off dominant wins but only one will keep their streak alive. The Hawks, ranked #1 in the CCAA, are striving for a fourth straight OCAA Championship but the Falcons (CCAA #11) have been perennial contenders and would like nothing better than to topple their division rivals.


Nomades de Montmorency vs. Dawson Blues
RSEQ WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

The Dawson Blues and Nomades de Montmorency are numbers one and two in the RSEQ standings and #2 and #3 in the CCAA Rankings respectively. Dawson is a perfect 11-0 on the season and the Nomades (10-1) only loss came at the hands of the Blues earlier in the season. These teams represented the RSEQ at the CCAA National Championship and both will be fighting to secure a spot again this year  at Mount Allison.


Crandall Chargers vs. Holland Hurricanes
ACAA MEN'S BASKETBALL

The Crandall Chargers (11-5) have emerged as contenders to the Holland Hurricanes (15-1) who have dominated the conference since 2012. The Hurricanes (CCAA #4) once again lead their conference but their only loss of the season came against the Chargers in November. It could be a high scoring affair as Holland leads the league in team scoring while Crandall counters with the second and third top individual scorers in the conference.
