The third-year forward led the Royals to their third straight PACWEST regular season title with a 7-3-2 record. Hamilton, the PACWEST Player of the Year, is now a two-time CCAA All-Canadian. She was third in league scoring with six goals. Hamilton continues to be a leader on campus and was involved in the CCAA initiative, “Make Some Noise for Mental Health” as well as the United Soccer Coaches initiative, “Play with Pride”.

Kell led the PACWEST in scoring with eight goals in 12 games. The fourth-year midfielder once again led Douglas to a first-place finish in the regular season as well as a PACWEST Championship crown. The Royals captain continued to embrace her leadership role on the field and was also involved in several campus events and activities, including the “Make Some Noise for Mental Health” and “Play with Pride” initiatives.

Rachel Brodie

NAIT Ooks

Brodie tied for second in the ACAC with nine goals. The team-oriented player added another five assists in leading the Broncos to a 6-3-1 record. Brodie is an unselfish player on the field who makes great decisions with the ball and has a wicked leg when given open space. The third-year forward exudes leadership and has become a most trusted player when it comes to her play on the pitch and her citizenship off it.

The fifth-year midfielder led NAIT to a 9-1 record and tie for first place in the ACAC North Division as the Ooks allowed only three goals against all season. The ACAC Player of the Year emerged as the Ooks true leader this season. She is a courageous and fierce competitor who always leads by example with her effort and team-first attitude. Loyns has developed into one of the best leaders and players in NAIT history.

Algonquin Thunder

The fifth-year forward scored an incredible 21 goals in nine games to earn her second OCAA scoring title. Johnson led the Golden Shield to an 8-2 record and second-place finish in the OCAA Central Division. She concludes her career as the conference’s all-time leading scorer with 83 goals. Johnson, the OCAA Player of the Year, is now a two-time CCAA All-Canadian. The Cambrian captain is composed on and off the field.

The rookie scored 17 times to lead the Thunder to a perfect 12-0 record and first-place finish in the OCAA East Division. Algonquin went on to defeat Humber in the OCAA Championship final. Gilligan had seven multi-goal games and four game-winning goals during the regular season as the Thunder led the conference with an unbelievable 62 goals. She is a skilled forward with the determination and work ethic that is infectious to her teammates.

Thibault was second in RSEQ scoring with eight goals in 10 games. She brought plenty of power to the Ahuntsic attack, accounting for more than half of the team’s offence this season. The first-year midfielder led the Indiennes to a bronze medal at the RSEQ Championships. Thibault is a fierce and determined player.

The RSEQ Player of the Year led the Élans to yet another first-place finish in Quebec with a 7-0-3 record. Garneau allowed only five goals against in 10 games thanks in large part to Routhier’s incredible performance this season. The third-year defender anticipates well and is extremely difficult to beat one-on-one. Routhier is a great role model for other student-athletes and is certainly the most appreciated player by her teammates.

Wright made a significant impact in the ACAA for the Mystics in her first year of post-secondary play, leading the conference in scoring with 11 goals. The forward led the Mystics to a 5-2-5 record and second-place finish in the conference. Wright is a dynamic player with the ability to bring up the intensity of training sessions and games. She impacts the game in multiple ways, through her technique, work ethic and game understanding.

The ACAA Player of the Year led the Rams to an 8-1-3 record and first-place finish in the conference. Maxwell, who scored three game-winning goals this season, is a former member of the U18 National Program. She is a versatile player, who can be placed anywhere on the field and still excel. Maxwell’s experience and leadership, coupled with her vision on the field and precise distribution of the ball, enabled the Rams to take advantage of every opportunity.
