March 16, 2016 – The Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association is proud to announce the 2016 CCAA Women’s Basketball All-Canadians.
The student-athletes, who are selected by their conference based on performance and contribution to the sport and their team, were honoured at a banquet during the 2016 CCAA Women’s Basketball National Championship at St. Clair College in Windsor, ON.
Here are the CCAA Women’s Basketball All-Canadians:

| Quest Kermodes | VIU Mariners | ||
| In four seasons at Quest, Baumann has started every single game. She is the Kermodes all-time leader in rebounds. Baumann was first in the PACWEST in rebounds per game (13.3), second in assists per game (4.3) and steals per game (3.4) and fourth in points per game (15.2). The Quest captain is a quiet leader who leads mainly by her actions. Baumann has developed into an on-court coach as she tries to inspire and drive the team into building a winning culture. | Pollard led the Mariners to a 19-2 record and first-place finish in the PACWEST. The 2015 CCAA All-Canadian was a force at both ends of the floor this season and is a major reason VIU finished atop the conference standings. Pollard, a fourth-year forward, was second in the PACWEST in points per game (18.1) and third in rebounds per game (9.5). | ||

| St. Mary’s Lightning | Lakeland Rustlers | ||
| Romeril led the Lightning to an 18-3 record, its best season yet in the ACAC. She was first in the conference in points per game (28.5), second in steals per game (4.1) and assists per game (4.6). Romeril is a versatile leader and a threat in all aspects of the game. She set a new single-season ACAC record with 78 three-point conversions. The third-year guard sets a high standard of sportsmanship for herself and her team and is well-respected around the conference. | McKerlie led the Rustlers to a perfect 24-0 record and first-place finish in the ACAC’s North Division. She was second in the division in points per game (14.6), third in steals per game (2.4) and fourth in rebounds per game (6.9). The fifth-year forward and Lakeland captain is a great mentor to younger student-athletes and brings a high level of competitiveness to every single practice and game. McKerlie always puts her team first over individual accomplishments and she has an infectious personality. | ||

| Ceejay Nofuente | Lindsay Panchan | ||

| Humber Hawks | Durham Lords | ||
| Nofuente led the Hawks to a perfect 18-0 record and first-place finish in the OCAA’s West Division. She led Humber in scoring and ranked first in the conference in assists per game (6.4) and steals per game (4.5). Nofuente also contributed 8.7 rebounds per game. After being named a first team All-Star at CCAA Nationals last March, the third-year point guard developed into a leader at Humber this season as demonstrated in her pass-first, shoot-second mentality. | Panchan, a CCAA All-Canadian in 2015, was dominant once again this season, leading the OCAA in points per game (24.6) and rebounds per game (12.5). The fourth-year guard also ranked in the Top 10 in assists per game (3.4). Panchan strives to be her best and tries to instill that quality in her teammates. She holds a Game Day Staff position at Durham and often works the scorer’s table for the Men’s Basketball games. Panchan also volunteers with local community clubs. | ||

| Dynamiques de Sainte-Foy | Diablos de Trois-Rivières | ||
| The RSEQ Most Valuable Player led Sainte-Foy to a 15-3 record and a tie atop the conference standings. She was sixth in scoring in the RSEQ with 14.6 points per game, first with 51 three-point conversions and second in assists per game (3.8). Marchand, the Dynamiques captain and undisputed leader, is also President of Sainte-Foy’s Sports Committee. The third-year guard is determined and dedicated and has a sense of humour that is absolutely contagious to her teammates. | Auger led Trois-Rivières to a 15-3 record and a tie for first place in the RSEQ. She was fourth in the conference with an average of 17 points per game. In addition to maintaining an excellent academic average, Auger leads by example on the court. The second-year player constantly pushes her limits to achieve success and she has established herself as a student-athlete that thrives under pressure. | ||

| Holland Hurricanes | Holland Hurricanes | ||
| Barker led Holland to a 16-2 record and first-place finish in the ACAA. The third-year guard was fifth in the conference in points per game with 15.3. She led the conference in assists (96) and was third in three-point conversions (36). Barker, a 2015 CCAA All-Canadian, is a Hurricanes captain and a driven force on the court. She controls the offence, distributes the ball with poise and scores when given the opportunity. | Barrett led the Hurricanes to a first-place finish in the conference with a 16-2 record. She led the ACAA in points per game with 18.1. Barrett was 10th in the conference in rebounds per game (7.0). She was third in turnovers (75), fourth in assists (64) and fifth in steals (44). The fifth-year guard, also a team captain at Holland, is a gifted player and a fiery competitor who helps motivate her teammates on the court. | ||
