St. Thomas Tommies

MATCH 1: 10 a.m. AT

The NAIT Ooks captured the conference crown in Alberta with a 6-0 victory over the Concordia Thunder in the ACAC Championship final. NAIT, led by fifth year midfielder Zach Kaiser, finished atop the ACAC North Division with a 9-0-1 record. The Ooks, CCAA National Champions in 2011, will face the St. Thomas Tommies of the ACAA. St. Thomas dropped a 2-1 decision to the Holland Hurricanes in the ACAA Championship final. The Tommies, led by defensive midfielder Kyle Yearwood, improved to 7-2-3 this season and placed second overall in the ACAA. 


Humber Hawks
vs.
Langara Falcons

Wednesday, Nov. 7
MATCH 2: 12:30 p.m. AT

The Humber Hawks captured their seventh provincial title in the last nine years by defeating the Sheridan Bruins 2-1 in the OCAA Championship final. Nicholas Machado’s header in the 59th minute gave Humber the victory. The Hawks, who captured CCAA gold in 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2016, finished atop the OCAA Central Division with a 7-1-2 record. They’ll face the Langara Falcons, the PACWEST’s wildcard entry. Langara fell 2-1 to Capilano in the PACWEST final. The Falcons, who struggled to a 3-7-2 regular season record, shocked the Douglas Royals (8-2-2) in the PACWEST semi-final with a victory on penalty kicks. 


Indiens d'Ahuntsic
vs.
Holland Hurricanes

Wednesday, Nov. 7
MATCH 3: 3 p.m. AT

The Indiens d’Ahunstic will represent Quebec after squeaking past the Élans de Garneau with a 1-0 victory in the RSEQ Championship final. Led by RSEQ Player of the Year Yvenson André, the Indiens cruised to a first-place finish in the RSEQ with a 9-0-1 record. Ahuntsic will face the host Holland Hurricanes, who will represent the East Coast as ACAA Champions once again. The Hurricanes, CCAA bronze medalists last fall in Nanaimo, BC, defeated the St. Thomas Tommies to claim their fifth straight ACAA title. Holland, led by ACAA Player of the Year Shunya Kobayashi, finished atop the ACAA standings with a 9-2-1 record. 


Capilano Blues
vs.
Sheridan Bruins

Wednesday, Nov. 7
MATCH 4: 5:30 p.m. AT

The Capilano Blues captured the PACWEST title for the third time in the last four seasons with a 2-1 victory over the upstart Langara Falcons in the conference final. The Blues are led by fifth-year forward Keith Jackson, the PACWEST Player of the Year. Capilano went 8-2-2 in the regular season and finished in a tie for first place in the PACWEST. They’ll face the Sheridan Bruins, the OCAA’s wildcard entry. Sheridan placed second behind rival Humber in the OCAA Central Division with a 5-0-5 record. The Bruins captured the CCAA National Championship title on home soil in 2014.
