The Sting captured its first OCAA Championship crown in 30 years, eliminated defending champion Sheridan in the semi-finals before defeating Humber in the OCAA final. Led by second-year forward Khalil Miller, Seneca finished atop the OCAA East Division with a 19-1 record. They’ll face Lakeland, the ACAC Wildcard entry. The Rustlers were defeated 88-77 by SAIT in the ACAC Championship final. Lakeland finished in a tie for second in the ACAC North Division with a 16-8 record. |
Holland Hurricanes (B2)

The Hurricanes captured their sixth straight ACAA Championship title, defeating Crandall 100-64 in the conference final. Holland, bronze medalists at the last two CCAA National Championships, cruised to a 20-1 record and first-place finish in the regular season. They’ll face Jean-de-Brébeuf, which lost a heartbreaker to Montmorency in the RSEQ Championship final, 78-77. Led by third-year forward Guillaume Pépin, the Dynamiques finished first overall in the RSEQ during the regular season with a 14-2 record. |
Nomades de Montmorency (A1)

The defending CCAA National Champion Nomades edged Jean-de-Brébeuf 78-77 in the RSEQ Championship final. Led by RSEQ Player of the Year Alix Lochard, Montmorency finished second overall in the RSEQ with a 13-3 record in the regular season. The host team from Laval will take on Humber, the OCAA’s Wildcard entry. The Hawks placed third in the OCAA West Division with a 15-5 record. Humber eliminated Redeemer (19-1) in the OCAA Championship semi-finals before falling to Seneca in the final. |
SAIT Trojans (A2)

The Trojans defended their ACAC title with an 88-77 victory over Lakeland in the conference final. SAIT, led by fifth-year forward Murphy Beya, finished in a tie for first place in the ACAC South Division with a 16-5 record. They’ll face the upstart Royals, who upset Vancouver Island University 76-59 for their first PACWEST title in 10 years. Douglas finished third in the PACWEST with an 11-7 record, 12 points behind VIU (17-1). |
