The Humber Hawks earned gold medals across all categories during the final round of the 2022 CCAA Golf National Championship, presented by PING.
The Hawks claimed the men's team competition championship for the first time since 2012, winning by 20 strokes over the Boomerang d'André-Laurendeau. The Medicine Hat Rattlers made a strong final round push, but the Fanshawe Falcons were able to hold onto third place and earn the bronze medals.
Humber's Matthew Bremer won the men's individual gold finishing four over par across four days. Fanshawe's Mitchel Hampson took home an individual silver medal and Daniel Talmage from Humber rounded out the top three with a bronze medal.
On the women's side, Hayley McCallum and Madison Ouellette of Humber took home the individual gold and silver medals respectively, and Morgan Best of John Abbott earned the bronze medal on the women's side.
Among women's conference teams, the OCAA-1 team made up of a Humber trio - Elaine Surjoprajogo, Hayley McCallum and Madison Ouellette – earned the gold medals. The RSEQ-1 team made up of John Abbott's Morgan Best and Juliana Lacoste finished second to earn silver medals. Only three strokes behind them, the RSEQ-2 team made up of André-Laurendeau's Rosalie Langlois, Camille Gagnon and Chanybel Chiasson took home bronze.
