Camosun Chargers vs. VIU Mariners

A home-and-home series on the island is the perfect way to wrap up the first half of the PACWEST volleyball season. The Camosun Chargers (8-2) and VIU Mariners (8-2) are tied for second place in the conference and share near identical statistics. The primary difference between the two is that Camosun (CCAA No. 10) is on a six-match win streak while the Mariners (CCAA No. 4) lost their most recent contest.


NAIT Ooks vs. Keyano Huskies
ACAC MEN'S VOLLEYBALL

Perennial contenders Keyano (10-0) and NAIT (9-1) are once again battling for top spot in the ACAC North Division. The Ooks lone blemish was a five-set loss on opening night, while the Huskies remain undefeated and ranked No. 2 in the CCAA. The teams will have four matches to sort things out as they head into the break with these two contests in Fort Mac followed by two more in Edmonton next weekend.


Fanshawe Falcons vs. Humber Hawks
OCAA WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL

The Fanshawe Falcons (7-0) are looking to accomplish something only one team has done for over ten years – enter the CCAA Championships as OCAA champions. The Humber Hawks (5-1) have had 15 straight appearances in the OCAA championship game and won 10 OCAA titles in a row. While the Hawks (CCAA No. 12) have only lost one match this season, the undefeated Falcons (CCAA No. 5) have only given up a single set.


Dawson Blues vs. Ch. Saint-Lambert Cavaliers
RSEQ WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

The CCAA’s top ranked Women’s Basketball team, the Dawson Blues, visit the Champlain Saint-Lambert Cavaliers in a gigantic clash of the two final unbeaten teams in the RSEQ. Champlain (5-0) is currently ranked No. 7 in the country and will be the toughest test yet for a Dawson team (3-0) that has earned back-to-back silver medals at CCAA Nationals. The Blues have sat atop the CCAA Rankings since Week 1.


MSVU Mystics vs. Mount Allison Mounties
ACAA WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

The unbeaten MSVU Mystics will put their perfect 6-0 record on the line when they visit the second-place Mount Allison Mounties (4-2) on Sunday in ACAA Women’s Basketball play. It’s a rematch of last spring’s ACAA Championship final, won in overtime by the Mounties. MSVU got some revenge on Oct. 28, defeating Mount Allison 73-46 in the season opener. The high-flying Mystics are currently ranked No. 3 in the CCAA, while the Mounties are at No. 12.
